Un matrimonio de origen ruso, Ella Illarionova y Sergey, adquirió la propiedad para convertirla en su residencia y destinar otra área al turismo. Ella, en una entrevista exclusiva para DL-G, relata: "Me enamoré de esta zona, el norte de Portugal, Galicia... Viajamos y pensamos dónde estableceríamos nuestro futuro. Sergey y yo decidimos hacer el Camino de Santiago para decidir dónde instalarnos".
Desde entonces, se ha trabajado arduamente en esta quinta de 13 hectáreas, aunque aún no está concluida. La casa original, donde residen, es la zona terminada, junto con otras casas de alojamiento e infraestructuras de esparcimiento. Esta es la primera fase de sus planes, según Illarionova. Ahora, se encuentran inmersos en dos nuevos proyectos: un hotel de 30 plazas y un restaurante, con un plazo de realización de 2 o 3 años.
El restaurante, ubicado cerca del jardín, ofrecerá una vista panorámica del Valle del Lima y la villa. Se podrán recolectar productos frescos de la huerta e invernadero con gran inmediatez. Por supuesto, se ofrecerán pescados y mariscos de la costa local. El hotel estará completamente integrado en la naturaleza.
Para ello, Ella y Sergey, junto con su equipo, diseñan los proyectos, que luego son revisados por un equipo internacional de arquitectos para asegurar su cumplimiento normativo. Ella tiene los proyectos en mente y sabe exactamente lo que quiere.
Lo fundamental es la filosofía y la motivación de los propietarios: "Queremos compartir la belleza de este lugar con otras personas".
Este complejo turístico recibe principalmente familias con niños pequeños, quienes disfrutan de las instalaciones diseñadas para ellos y sus abuelos. Otro tipo de clientes son los amantes de la naturaleza y aquellos que buscan un estilo de vida saludable. "Nos gusta toda la gente que nos visita", resume Ella. Los visitantes suelen pasar un fin de semana o algunos días más, ya que Vinte Quinta da Boavista está cerca de Oporto y Vigo, en Galicia, lo que facilita el acceso.
"Me gusta la gente y verla disfrutar", afirma Ella Illarionova. En su afán de compartir, como buena anfitriona, no le importa tener mucha gente en su propiedad, compartir su sala de estar, el comedor o sus libros. "Me encanta saber que la gente se siente feliz aquí". Y anuncia que, en el futuro, cuando haya más espacios, este estilo de vida se mantendrá.
La mano de Ella se percibe en toda la quinta, especialmente en la decoración de las estancias. Los huéspedes se sorprenden al ver los detalles y exclaman: "¡Es mejor que en las fotos!". Ella comenta que la gente aprecia la amabilidad de los detalles pensados para que se sientan como en casa. "Todavía no hemos conocido a nadie que no se haya sorprendido al salir de aquí". Y bromea diciendo que solo han recibido visitas de buena gente, que se siente feliz de estar en su casa.
La decisión de crear instalaciones para familias surgió del deseo de Ella de recrear su feliz infancia y asegurar que los niños que visitan la quinta también se sientan así.

A Russian couple, Ella Illarionova and Sergey, acquired the property to turn it into their residence and allocate another area for tourism. Sergey and I decided to do the Camino de Santiago to decide where to settle."

The original house, where they reside, is the finished area, along with other accommodation houses and leisure infrastructures. This is the first phase of their plans, according to Illarionova. The restaurant, located near the garden, will offer a panoramic view of the Lima Valley and the village. Fresh products from the garden and greenhouse can be collected with great immediacy. Of course, fish and seafood from the local coast will be offered. The hotel will be fully integrated into nature.
To achieve this, Ella and Sergey, along with their team, design the projects, which are then reviewed by an international team of architects to ensure their regulatory compliance. Ella has the projects in mind and knows exactly what she wants.
The fundamental thing is the philosophy and motivation of the owners: "We want to share the beauty of this place with other people."
This tourist complex mainly receives families with young children, who enjoy the facilities designed for them and their grandparents. Other types of clients are nature lovers and those who seek a healthy lifestyle. "We like all the people who visit us," summarizes Ella. Visitors usually spend a weekend or a few more days, as Vinte Quinta da Boavista is close to Porto and Vigo, in Galicia, which facilitates access.
"I like people and seeing them enjoy themselves," says Ella Illarionova. In her eagerness to share, as a good hostess, she doesn't mind having many people on her property, sharing her living room, dining room, or her books. "I love knowing that people feel happy here." And she announces that, in the future, when there are more spaces, this lifestyle will remain.
Ella's hand is perceived throughout the quinta, especially in the decoration of the rooms. Guests are surprised to see the details and exclaim: "It's better than in the photos!" Ella comments that people appreciate the kindness of the details designed to make them feel at home. "We have not yet met anyone who has not been surprised when leaving here." And she jokes that they have only received visits from good people, who are happy to be in their house.
The decision to create facilities for families arose from Ella's desire to recreate her happy childhood and ensure that the children who visit the quinta also feel that way.
